PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The primary purpose of the Cardiac RNFA is to provide experienced clinical technical and leadership skills in the role of the First Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of a state board approved school of nursing – BSN preferred
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio
- Advanced training and completion of RNFA program
- CNOR certification
- Prior operating room experience required
- Ability to proactively deal with constant change
- Be prepared for an evolving healthcare environment that includes advanced technologies
- Must maintain BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- 7:00am – 3:30pm or 9:00am – 5:30pm rotating M-F or hours as required by the job. On call afternoons, weekends, holidays, and off-shifts (30-minute response time).
- Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
- Breaks and lunch are coordinated with other personnel and workload activity.
