Job Summary
Augustine Surgical Inc. is seeking a results-driven and knowledgeable Medical Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in medical device sales and a strong understanding of the surgical environment. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, building lasting relationships with key decision-makers, and providing expert product knowledge and support to healthcare professionals. This position is hybrid and working on the road.
Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:
- Actively prospect and develop new business opportunities within hospitals, surgical centers, and physician offices.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and quotas.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow market share for our product portfolio.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and needs assessment to negotiation and closing.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders, surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional pre- and post-sales support.
- Understand client needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions and product recommendations.
Product Expertise:
- Become a subject matter expert on all Augustine Surgical Inc. products, understanding their features, benefits, and clinical applications.
- Conduct effective product demonstrations, training, and presentations to healthcare professionals in operating rooms and other clinical settings.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive products, and clinical research.
Administrative and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities, contacts, and opportunities in our CRM system.
- Prepare and submit regular sales forecasts, reports, and expense reports.
- Manage and track sales budgets effectively.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, customer support, and R&D teams to provide market feedback and ensure a cohesive customer experience.
- Participate in regional and national sales meetings, trade shows, and professional conferences.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Verifiable sales experience in the medical device or surgical equipment industry is required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong understanding of the medical sales process and the healthcare industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport and establish credibility with medical professionals.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
