Responsibilities/Duties
As a Machine Operator with Augustine Die & Mold, Inc. (ADM), you will perform machine shop labor oprations to assist in the manufacture of parts for a wide array of industries including Aerospace & Defense, Energy, Medical, Water/Wastewater Treatment, and more. Responsibilities/Duties
- Perform manual shop operations, such as turning, milling, deburring, metal sawing, and drilling operations utilizing manual machining techniques, as directed by immediate Supervisor or Machinist/Trainer .
- Assist skilled CNC Machinists with equipment and provide QA support for immediate Supervisor or Lead Machinist/Trainer.
- Inspect units to detect defects or malfunctions, and adjust, repair, or replace component parts to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Pack finished assemblies to ensure protection for shipment and for transport to storage areas.
- Maintain a clean working environment around all equipment and all areas in the shop.
- Become educated in all areas of shop safety and practice the learned techniques in daily activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physically demanding light-to-medium-duty tasks
- Basic communication skills
- Negative Panel Drug Test
- Minimum of 1 year of prior demonstrated abilities in all aspects of the machining profession
- Minimum of 1 year of work experieince producing components utilizing manual machining tools and equipment
- Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Use of computer applications in a shop environment
- Ability to operate tow motors and forklifts
- Demonstrated knowledge in all aspects of Shop Safety
- Working knowledge of MS Office and associated programs
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Machine operation experience
