Associate Attorney Position
We’re seeking an associate attorney to join our team. A successful candidate will possess the following skills:
- Experience in Probate, Family Law, Estate Planning or Estate Administration.
- Must be in good standing and licensed to practice law in Michigan.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced law firm environment and meet billable hour requirement.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, grasp new concepts quickly, and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work with a team and independently with minimal attorney supervision.
- Manage legal matters assigned from inception to completion, including communicating with clients, team, courts, and opposing counsel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills along with ability to problem solve.
- Meet and represent clients in contested and uncontested hearings.
- Legal document drafting for client signing and filing with various Courts.
- Stay updated on current laws and research laws for various legal pleadings.
- Strong skills in Microsoft office, client management system, etc.
- Maintain professionalism, client privacy, and confidentiality.
- Performs other duties consistent with purpose of job as directed
Compensation & Schedule:
- Full Time (40hours)
- Salary commensurate with experience ($70k-$85k)
- 2weeks of paid vacation (annually)
- Paid Holidays
- 401k (eligible after one year)
- In person position
- Office Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00AM-5:00PM)
