What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN II position at Augusta Health?
Performs the functions of a licensed practical nurse in data collection for planning, assessment,
implementation, and evaluation of all assigned patient care under the supervision of and in collaboration
with the registered nurse. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide
care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned unit or within his/her department.
Must be able to provide care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Licensure/Certification
• Must be licensed by the Commonwealth of
Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
