What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Specialist Technician (Floor Technician) Environmental Services 3rd Shift position at Augusta Health Brand?
The Project Specialist Technician performs a variety of stripping, waxing, cleaning, servicing and stock replenishing duties in assigned hospital areas to ensure that patient, medical, visitor and administrative areas are to be maintained in accordance with established standards of sanitation’s and cleanliness. Engage in the collection, removal and disposal of all hazardous waste, in accordance to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Position works every other weekend.
- Days off as scheduled.
- Works holidays as scheduled.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, write and follow directions.
- Ability to operate various types of floor equipment.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred.
