Opportunity: Full-time opportunity with a growing medical practice for a detail-oriented Billing Specialist.
Who We Are: For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA. With 5 offices, 16 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta Aiken ENT & Allergy strives to help everyone feel their very best. We have recently expanded south to team up with Dr. Lippincott and his team in Statesboro!
Duties (summary): In this role, you will be handling all aspects of the insurance revenue cycle including charge entry, payment posting, A/R follow up, and patient/insurance calls.
Our Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player with 2 years of medical office experience. We are looking for someone who is trainable, takes initiative, and is able to work without cellphone in hand.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of medical office experience
- Familiar with medical insurance and medical terminology
- Knowledge of full revenue cycle: processing claims, resolving denials, maximizing reimbursement, A/R, preferred
- Computer efficiency, strong data entry, and attention to detail
- Ability to sit at a desk for an extended period of time
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to comply with all company policies
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to work independently and with others
