Who We Are: For the past 40 years, Augusta ENT PC has been providing a full spectrum of specialty care for people of all ages across the CSRA and Statesboro. With 5 offices, 16 physicians, and a variety of services Augusta ENT PC strives to help everyone feel their very best.
Duties (summary): The Audiologist is responsible for administering a variety of diagnostic audiological exams, counseling patients, families and physicians regarding test results, and reviewing options that best meet the patient’s hearing healthcare needs. Performs audiological services in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of hearing disorders for people of all ages. Evaluates, orders, dispenses, and repairs hearing aids. Participates in special events and programs throughout the community.
Our Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate will hold a master’s degree, Au.D., or Ph.D. in Audiology and be eligible to obtain and maintain a South Carolina state license. This individual is compassionate, patient-centered, and skilled at building trust with individuals who have hearing or speech challenges. They are comfortable with hearing aid selection and sales, demonstrating strong technical expertise combined with clear, empathetic communication.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree, AuD, or Ph.D.
- Ability to obtain and retain SC and GA State Licenses
- Must be comfortable with hearing aid sales
- Must have the mobility to travel throughout the CSRA
- Ability to interact with patients, despite hearing or speech issues
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and sit
