Grill Kitchen Second Cook FT

Duties and responsibilities

• Cleaning food preparation areas, cooking surfaces, and utensils.
• Cooking multiple customer orders at one time.
• Maintaining sanitation, health and safety standards in work area.
• Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, kitchen equipment, walk-in coolers and freezers, and all storage areas.
• Washing, cutting, and prepping food items for actual or anticipated orders.
• Measuring ingredients required for specific food items being prepared.
• Mixing ingredients.
• Operating large volume cooking equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills, deep fat fryers, and/or griddles.
• Reading food order tickets or receiving verbal instructions as to food required by members and preparing food accordingly.
• Verifying that prepared food meets requirements for quality, presentation, and quantity.
• Cleaning, stocking, and restocking workstations.
• Following recipes.
• Creating nightly specials and advertising them
