CFO-Director of Operations
Are you a strategic leader with a heart for Christian education and a talent for keeping operations running smoothly? Augusta Christian Schools is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee and manage the daily business, HR, and logistical functions that support our mission of providing a high-quality Christian education.
What You’ll Do:As Director of Operations, you’ll work closely with school leadership, faculty, and staff to:
- Oversee human resources, employee relations, and regulatory compliance
- Manage payroll and benefits
- Coordinate vendor contracts
- Lead non-teaching staff and foster a healthy, positive work culture
- Monitor and manage operational budgets and commercial insurance policies
- Develop emergency preparedness plans and risk management strategies
- Assist with strategic planning and special projects
- This is a full-time, on-site leadership role reporting to the Head of School. You’ll be a key player in ensuring the day-to-day and long-term success of our operational infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in HR, payroll, budgeting, and vendor negotiations
- Knowledge of compliance regulations, insurance policies, and IRS requirements
- A collaborative, problem-solving mindset with a heart for Christian service
- Strong Christian testimony
- Involved in a local church
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred in business administration, management, or a related field)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, HR, or business leadership
- Strong knowledge of financial practices, HR compliance, and risk management
- Commitment to the mission and values of Augusta Christian Schools
