COMPLIANCE CONSULTING INTERN - SUMMER 2026
We are excited to announce the opening of our 2026 Summer Internship program. The program will run from May 18, 2026, through August 7, 2026.
JOB SUMMARY
Work with an established team of environmental professionals to assist and support industry in complying with environmental regulations at a variety of different industrial sites by conducting environmental site inspections, preparing technical reports and plans, and performing client management activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Learn existing regulations and develop strategies to ensure client compliance
- Complete assigned projects under the guidance of a Compliance Manager to achieve established objectives and deadlines
- Assist with the preparation of various industrial reports, updating environmental plans, conducting sampling activities, etc.
- Assist with preparing Form R and quarterly air reports, various regulatory applications (e.g., air, stormwater, etc.), and storm water and oil spill plans
- Assist in developing relationships with new clients and maintaining existing clients.
- Participate in project team, client, and sales/marketing meetings.

- General knowledge of existing regulations
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Work cooperatively with internal and external customers
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Education: Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
Skills: Strong computer and verbal/written communication skills are a must
JOB CONTEXT
50 - 75% office (controlled environment), 25 - 50% field/site visit travel (environmental job hazards)
