Asssitant Business Office Manager/ Human Resources
Full-Time | Exempt | Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Asssitant Business Office Manager/ Human Resources o lead all human resources operations for the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, effective staffing practices, employee relations, payroll oversight, and staff development while supporting a professional and consistent workplace culture. This position is ideal for a hands-on HR leader who understands healthcare operations and values fairness, accountability, and strong systems.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all human resources operations in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes
- Ensure personnel files, licensure, certifications, and employment documentation are complete and compliant
- Oversee payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Administer wage and salary practices in alignment with policy and equity standards
- Partner with leadership on staffing levels, performance management, and workforce planning
- Provide guidance on employee relations, discipline, investigations, and terminations
- Coordinate employee leaves, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and unemployment claims
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and employment law requirements
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and facility information at all times
- Lead HR committees and participate in facility leadership meetings
- Support staff development, in-services, and training documentation
- Prepare reports and recommendations for the Administrator as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior HR leadership experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion
- Proven ability to lead, advise, and collaborate with department leadership
