Position Overview
The Technical Support Analyst II (Audio-Visual) is an end-user focused role responsible for supporting enterprise audio-visual (AV) systems and delivering proactive technical solutions. This position plays a key role in ensuring reliable conference room technology, supporting meetings and events, and enhancing end-user experience through troubleshooting, training, and system optimization.
- Provide hands-on support for AV systems across conference rooms and event spaces
- Diagnose and resolve end-user technical issues in a timely and professional manner
- Deliver proactive problem resolution and user education to prevent recurring issues
- Support enterprise AV platforms and collaborate with senior AV engineers on system performance
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of AV hardware and software
- Perform physical tasks including lifting equipment, cable management, and system setup
- Conduct daily site walkthroughs to identify and resolve system issues proactively
- Support a fast-paced, cross-functional environment with a strong customer service focus
Qualifications:
Required Technical Skills
- 1 years of experience in audio-visual support, IT support, or related technical environment
- Hands-on experience with AV technologies such as:
- Microsoft Teams Rooms
- Crestron systems
- Polycom solutions
- Logitech conferencing equipment
- Experience supporting end users in a corporate or enterprise environment
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and reporting (e.g., endpoint/device health)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Physical capability to:
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Bend, climb ladders, and maneuver in confined spaces
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
- Exposure to:
- Microsoft Intune or device management platforms
- AppSpace or digital signage technologies
- Neat or similar AV collaboration tools
- Experience supporting enterprise meeting environments and live events
- Knowledge of AV infrastructure, camera tracking, and conferencing workflows
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret system performance data
- Experience training end users on AV systems and best practices
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV systems
- Assist end users with:
- Meeting scheduling
- Room setup
- Real-time issue resolution
- Monitor and support system health across AV platforms and collaboration tools
- Partner with senior AV staff to maintain system reliability and performance
- Generate and analyze system health reports to identify trends and issues
- Deliver remote and onsite technical support as needed
- Train users on AV systems and promote best practices
- Research and evaluate new AV technologies and solutions
