What You’ll Do
- Run day-to-day landfill operations, including waste disposal, equipment, and site upkeep.
- Lead, train, and motivate crews to meet safety, compliance, and productivity goals.
- Take ownership of budgets, schedules, and resources to keep projects on track and within cost.
- Ensure all operations meet county, state, and federal compliance standards.
- Work side by side with the team to troubleshoot issues, optimize processes, and improve efficiency.
- Build strong working relationships with county officials, contractors, and community partners.
- Push forward sustainability efforts and smart waste management practices.
- 5 years of solid waste management experience (landfill operations strongly preferred).
- Proven success managing high-volume operations and leading teams.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory and environmental compliance.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfortable with budgets, planning, and making operational decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field a plus, but equivalent experience works too.

Salary : $100 - $160
