- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data to assess the credit risk of potential and existing borrowers.
- Assist in the preparation of credit reports and recommendations for loan approvals, renewals, and modifications.
- Conduct due diligence and market research to support credit assessments and decision-making.
- Monitor and review the credit performance of existing loans, identifying any signs of potential issues or defaults.
- Collaborate with senior credit analysts and underwriters to evaluate credit applications and recommend appropriate credit terms.
- Maintain and update credit databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present summaries of credit analyses to senior management and credit committees.
- Stay informed about industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting credit risk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in credit analysis, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and credit assessment tools.
- Solid understanding of credit risk assessment principles, financial statements, and lending practices.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
