Patient Care Coordinator
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details
- Assist with medical record management, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care plans
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (Counsel Ear) to update patient information and schedule appointments
-Learn to trouble shoot hearing aid problems and do minor repairs
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple calls simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
