Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Full-Time Porter to join our dealership team. The Porter plays a key role in maintaining the appearance of dealership vehicles and grounds while ensuring vehicles are organized, clean, and ready for customer delivery. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. MUST HAVE 3 YEARS OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE.
Responsibilities
- Move, park, and organize new and pre-owned vehicles on dealership property.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicle inventory.
- Wash, vacuum, and prepare vehicles for customer delivery and showroom display.
- Assist with vehicle transfers between departments and off-site locations as needed.
- Keep the dealership lot, parking areas, and grounds clean and orderly.
- Fuel vehicles and monitor inventory readiness.
- Assist the sales and service departments with various operational needs.
- Perform basic inspections of vehicles and report any damage or maintenance concerns.
- Ensure all dealership safety procedures and policies are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with customers and guests.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist multiple departments.
- Previous automotive dealership experience is a plus but not required.
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays as needed
