Job Description:
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to assist with our financial recordkeeping. This role will support our accounting team by handling day-to-day transactions, reconciling accounts, and assisting with reports. The ideal candidate should have intermediate bookkeeping knowledge and be comfortable working under guidance while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with recording financial transactions in accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts
- Process invoices, payments, and expense reports
- Support payroll and financial reporting tasks
- Help maintain organized financial records
- Follow company procedures and assist with compliance
Qualifications:
- Some prior bookkeeping experience (intermediate level)
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to follow instructions and work collaboratively
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or coursework in accounting, finance, or related field
