Duties
- Support the Office Manager in overseeing daily administrative operations and ensuring office procedures run smoothly
- Manage scheduling for customer appointments
- Manage vendor relationships across multiple suppliers (fabric, materials, etc)
- Input data into tools like QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Assist with human resources tasks such as onboarding new staff, maintaining personnel records, and supporting training & development initiatives
- Handle bookkeeping, payroll processing, and budgeting activities to ensure accurate financial management
- Organize filing systems, manage document retention, and support clerical tasks such as data entry and correspondence preparation
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or comparable bookkeeping/accounting software for financial tasks
- Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—with professional phone etiquette
- Strong calendar management skills to coordinate meetings, events, and deadlines efficiently
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Skilled in vendor management, budgeting, filing systems, and front desk operations
