Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Duluth, MN for an Audiologist. The Audiologist will perform diagnostic hearing evaluations, provide hearing device recommendations and fittings, and develop customized treatment plans for patients. Responsibilities also include counseling on effective communication strategies, maintaining accurate patient records, and staying updated on the latest hearing technology and practices. You will work closely with patients to ensure their hearing health care needs are met with compassion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in conducting hearing and balance assessments, utilizing a variety of audiological testing methodologies
- Experience with hearing aid fitting and programming, and troubleshooting assistive listening devices
- Patient counseling and communication skills, with the ability to explain treatment plans and address concerns empathetically
- Knowledge of the latest advances and technology in audiology and hearing health care
- Commitment to maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Doctorate in Audiology (AuD) or equivalent degree and current state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Prior experience in a clinic or healthcare environment preferred
