This position supports financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting, compliance, and process improvement initiatives to ensure the company maintains strong financial health and operational excellence.

About The Staff Accountant
The Staff Accountant plays a key role in managing and optimizing financial processes at Audiochuck. What You’ll Do Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Provide analysis of financial performance to leadership and stakeholders
- Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, revenue streams, and other transactions
- Maintain accuracy of financial records and general ledger accounts
- Assist in developing and monitoring financial budgets and forecasts
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning
- Support external audits and tax preparation processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies
- Oversee invoice processing, vendor payments, and cash flow management
- Monitor receivables and coordinate collections as needed
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and increase efficiency
- Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to implement improvements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA preferred
- 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in media, entertainment, or a fast-growing organization
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, NetSuite preferred
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modeling
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Independent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience or familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude for data analysis, research, or process automation preferred
