Role Description
This is a temporary, hybrid role for a Video Engineer located in Alexandria, VA, with some remote work flexibility. The Video Engineer will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining video conferencing and broadcasting equipment. The role also involves managing video-on-demand (VOD) services, implementing streaming media solutions, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality digital video for events. Responsibilities may require on-site support during event production as well as coordination with technical teams to optimize video and audio systems.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Troubleshooting to diagnose and address technical issues effectively
- Experience with Video Conferencing and VOD (Video On Demand) platforms
- Knowledge of Streaming Media technologies and deployment for live events
- Proficiency in Digital Video operations, including setup, editing, and integration
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment
- Prior experience in audio-visual and event technology services is highly desirable
- Degree or certification in audiovisual technology, computer science, or a related field is a plus
