Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for providing on-site support and technical assistance to our clients. This role requires a strong background in field service, network, AV installation, and electrical work. Responsibilities:
- Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of network equipment and systems
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to network connectivity
- Install and configure network equipment, including routers, switches, and access points
- Conduct fiber splicing and cabling as needed
- Test and certify network connections for proper functionality
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Field Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of network installation procedures and best practices
- Proficiency in electrical work and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with cabling standards and techniques
- Knowledge of low voltage systems, telephone systems is a plus
- Network skills, security camera installations is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
