Vehicle Up fitter/ Car Audio Installer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vehicle Up fitter/Car Audio Installer to join our dynamic automotive team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, upgrading, and maintaining vehicle lighting, audio systems and related accessories, ensuring each vehicle meets our high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. Duties

• Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot emergency lighting, car audio systems, including speakers, amplifiers, head units, and custom wiring harnesses
• Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure accurate system integration
• Conduct vehicle diagnostics using specialized automotive diagnostic tools to identify electrical or mechanical issues
• Repair or replace vehicle components such as suspension systems, transmissions, powertrain elements, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) modules
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installations and repairs
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all installations adhere to manufacturer specifications and safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding service procedures and recommendations

Skills

• Proven dealership experience or extensive automotive service technician background
• Strong understanding of schematics, automotive wiring diagrams, and electrical systems
• Knowledge of ADAS technology, automotive diagnostics, and the use of diagnostic tools
• Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for complex electrical installations
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and automotive service equipment
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical details clearly
• Strong technical proficiency in automotive electrical systems and vehicle systems diagnostics
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
