Audio Architects is a small business in Chippewa Falls, WI. We are professional, agile, fast-paced and our goal is to provide premier AV System design, installation and service to commercial, government, and education clients.
```Job Summary```
We are seeking Installation Technicians to join our team. As an Installation Tech, you will be responsible for installing various AV systems and equipment for commercial clients. This is a hands-on role that is benefited by technical/construction experience and the ability to work independently, but as part of a crew. Techs report to our main office, then drive company vehicles to and from work sites . Some out of town overnights are required. Typical schedule is 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday. Work sites range from in progress construction sites to clean and finished spaces and outdoor venues. This is a physical job that will require fitting into tight spaces, working at heights and lifting heavy gear.
```Duties```
- Run and install low voltage cabling, as well as terminate cabling via various methods including soldering, basic wire terminals, crimp connections, etc.
- Safely and securely install AV equipment such as speakers, projectors and cameras.
- Assemble and wire equipment racks
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations within designated timeframes
- Communicate with project manager about job progress, needs, and changes/problems as they arise.
```Qualifications```
- High School diploma and/or some College
- Ability to read blue prints and schematics
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Clean driving record
-Able to pass background check for work in schools & government buildings
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
```Skills/Abilities```
- Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
- Ability to write simple correspondence and present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Good customer relation skills
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts and scaffolding as well as kneel, crawl and work in dark spaces with headlamps.
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Able to work in dusty environments such as construction sites

- General understanding of AC/DC circuits and electronics
