Kia of Valencia is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Service BDC (Business Development Center) Representative to join our growing team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy helping customers, and have exceptional communication skills, we'd love to meet you.
As the first point of contact for many of our service customers, you will play a critical role in delivering an outstanding customer experience while helping our service department operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound service calls professionally and courteously.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently using dealership scheduling software.
- Confirm upcoming appointments and reschedule missed appointments.
- Contact customers due for maintenance or factory recommended services.
- Follow up with customers regarding declined services and future maintenance.
- Respond promptly to internet inquiries, emails, text messages, and online appointment requests.
- Coordinate with Service Advisors and Service Management to maximize shop capacity.
- Maintain accurate customer information and detailed communication records.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly appointment and customer contact goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service with every interaction.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
- Professional phone etiquette.
- Automotive dealership experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous BDC, customer service, call center, or service advisor experience is a plus.
