What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Driver position at Audi Richmond?
Purpose:
The Parts Driver is responsible for delivering and picking up parts and equipment for the dealership.
Essential Duties:
- Deliveries and Pickups: Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, and vendors. Pick up parts and equipment from these locations, coordinating with the Parts Manager and Parts Counter before leaving.
- Documentation: Complete a log at the time of delivery and obtain the recipient’s signature.
- End-of-Day Routine: Unload the truck each night and turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
- Department Maintenance: Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department.
- Vehicle Upkeep: Ensure the basic upkeep of the truck, including checking the oil with each fill-up and ensuring the truck is lubricated the first week of each month.
