The Service Assistant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Service Department by assisting Service Advisors, communicating with guests, coordinating vehicle flow, and helping ensure a smooth and efficient service experience from arrival to delivery.
What You Will Do
- Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner upon arrival to the Service Department
- Support Service Advisors with administrative and operational tasks throughout the day
- Assist with checking vehicles in and updating guest information accurately
- Coordinate vehicle movement and communicate status updates as needed
- Help maintain organization of repair orders, keys, and service documentation
- Communicate with guests regarding basic service updates, appointment confirmations, and follow-up needs
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and guest-focused service drive environment
- Support scheduling activities and help ensure timely guest assistance
- Work collaboratively with Service, Parts, and Sales teams to support dealership operations
- Uphold company standards for professionalism, guest service, and attention to detail
- Prior customer service, administrative, hospitality, or dealership experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and dealership software systems
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
