Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role located in Gilbert, AZ. The Technician will perform diagnostic evaluations, routine maintenance, and complex repairs on Audi vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards. Daily responsibilities include inspecting vehicles, identifying mechanical and electrical issues, documenting findings, and completing repair orders accurately and efficiently. The role involves using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, following safety and quality procedures, and maintaining a clean, organized service bay. The Technician will collaborate with Service Advisors and Parts personnel, communicate clearly about repair needs and timelines, and support a high level of client satisfaction through reliable, detail-oriented work.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and preventative maintenance on modern vehicles (experience with European or luxury brands is a plus).
- Ability to use manufacturer-specific and general diagnostic tools, service information systems, and standard shop equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to performing work to manufacturer and dealership quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Service Advisors, Parts staff, and fellow Technicians.
- Current valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Automotive technical training, ASE or manufacturer certifications, or equivalent experience in an automotive service environment preferred.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of the role, including standing for extended periods, lifting components and equipment as needed, and following all safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education or apprenticeship completion is beneficial.
