Overview:
Talk Radio 1210-AM WPHT in Philadelphia has openings for part-time Board Operators.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Run the control board, following station format, arranging and playing commercials and IDsaccording to program and commercial logs.
- Operating the board during local and syndicated talk radio programs and sports events.
- Screening calls during local call-in shows.
- Researching broadcast topics, providing creative input on broadcast elements andcollaborating with hosts on show content.
- Scheduling guests and live interviews.
- Recording news, weather, and traffic feeds for broadcast.
- Editing relevant video and audio sound bites for on-air use.
- Contributing to social networking and website updates.
- Producing and running live station remotes.
- Follow all applicable laws and FCC regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Manager.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
- Candidates should have a good working knowledge of current events.Applicants must be available nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Prior experience is a plus.
- Experience using Adobe Suite editing applications like Audition and Premiere Pro.
- Dependability and punctuality are a must.
- Employees of Audacy are required to be a minimum of 21 years of age to operate any vehicle, including Company-owned, leased, rented, or personal vehicles, when such operation is conducted on behalf of Audacy. Driving is an essential function of this role.
- A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant's own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.
