About the role
** Applications for this Cybersecurity Intern position will be accepted from March 19 through March 27. Following the close of the application period, all submissions will undergo a comprehensive review. Candidates identified for further consideration will be contacted beginning March 30 regarding next steps in the selection process.**
This is an internship role within the Information Technology department and under the Information Security Office Group.
2026 Auctane Summer Internship Program:

Eligibility:
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate university program. Students graduating in May 2026 are not eligible for the program
Duration:
Paid, 9-week internship
Schedule:
40 hours per week, with the exception of the week of July 4th.
Program Dates:
- June 9, 2026 — First day of onsite orientation
- August 13, 2026 — Final day of the program
Location:
Hybrid role based in Austin, TX
- In-office: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- Remote: Monday and Friday
Interviews:
Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis through March 31st
What will you be doing?
- Develop preventative and detective controls based on gaps identification
- Help secure cloud and corporate IT infrastructure
- Identify threats and develop remediations against those threats
- Working with the global security team to learn and support security programs and their success
What are we looking for?
- Eagerness to learn and be curious about technology and security problems
- Experience in Computer Science, Software Development, Data Science, Cyber Security or similar courseworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
What will make you stand out?
- Experience in AWS/GCP, Containers, Python, C#, and similar technologies
- Located in or near the Austin, Texas area
