Are you an experienced QMA? Do you like puzzles? Figuring out staffing schedules is like a jig saw puzzle sometimes. The good news is, at Auburn Village, we provide a lot of support and training to ensure proper staffing levels for CNAs/QMAs and Nurses for each of our 12 hour shifts. And, our recruiting team is active every day recruiting reliable staff. Occasionally, you may have to jump on the floor and work as a CNA or QMA.
You'll be using our scheduling software On-Shift to create master and daily schedules; identifying work holes and sending out open shift availability to staff.
Auburn Village is a beautifully renovated skilled nursing facility with both short and long term care patients, located in the quaint town of Auburn, IN north of Fort Wayne. We offer Mileage Reimbursement if you need to drive more than 20 miles round trip to and from home/work.
Requirements
- Must be a QMA with license in Indiana
- Must have outstanding organizational and critical thinking skills
- Confidentiality is a MUST as you'll be assisting with staff interviews
- Familiarity with On-Shift scheduling software a big plus - but any healthcare scheduling software works for us
- You'll have to be great at time management
- Will require excellent people skills and be good at negotiating and working collaboratively
- Foremost, you must keep our patients' needs in mind - quality healthcare is dependent on quality staffing
