Job Summary
Job Summary
This position is under the direct supervision of the school site Principal and with classroom oversight by the credential teacher the shared support aide in a SDC Classroom Grades 5-8. The position is 6 hours per day, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 07:55 am - 02:25 pm. The Paraprofessional Special Education assists in providing direct services to students alongside the special education teacher in a middle school setting.
Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS REQUIREMENTS: High School Graduate/GED and Successful completion of the Instructional Aide Para Exam or 40 college units (AA) Experience working with children with special education needs in an organized setting; Current CPR and First Aid Certification, NCI/CPI Training will be provided. within six month of hire date California DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance following initial job offer
