Auburn Ridge is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our products to various construction sites.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Operate company vehicles to transport cabinets and millwork products to designated locations.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Safely load and unload cabinets and millwork products from delivery vehicles.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents against shipping manifests.
- Plan delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions and project schedules.
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries and fuel efficiency.
- Maintain clear communication with the team to provide updates on delivery status.
- Collaborate with on-site contacts to coordinate delivery logistics at construction sites.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance on delivery vehicles.
- Report any issues or concerns related to vehicle performance promptly.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Commercial Driving Experience
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Careful verification of delivery contents to ensure accuracy.
- Diligence in adhering to safety protocols during the loading and unloading process.
- Clear and effective communication with the team and on-site contacts.
- Ability to handle on-the-road situations with professionalism.
- Consistent on-time delivery performance.
- Reliability in meeting delivery schedules and deadlines.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in driving or delivery is preferred.
