Teacher Art Auburn Middle School

Auburn School Department is seeking a candidate who is excited about joining our very supportive school community! This position is to teach grade 7th and 8th Art This candidate should desire to form strong relationships with their students, have a deep understanding of middle school best practices. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provides opportunities for student involvement in the learning process 2. Teaches based on the needs of the whole child 3. Organizes materials for student learning 4. Provides appropriate feedback on student progress 5. Guides student behavior 6. Maintains a climate conducive to learning 7. Communicates effectively with parents and/or community 8. Plans for and engages in professional development 9. Complies with policies, operating procedures, and requirements 10. Maintains accurate student records 11. Works cooperatively with all staff 12. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the administrator.
