At the Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National, we’re looking for a dynamic Rooms Manager to lead and inspire teams across our Front Office and, Housekeeping departments. You will bring your prior background in front office operations and/or housekeeping to be the strategic engine behind our rooms operations, working closely with department heads to ensure seamless day-to-day execution and long-term success. From elevating cleanliness standards to implementing cost-saving strategies and enhancing VIP guest experiences, your leadership will shape the guest journey from check-in to checkout.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Provide Critical Leadership: Oversee all aspects of the hotel’s Rooms Operations and drive strategy with impact.
- Hands-On Management: Lead by example and step into frontline roles when needed.
- Guest Experience Champion: Set the tone for quality, cleanliness, and service excellence. Collaborate with Sales and Engineering to ensure VIP satisfaction and swift room maintenance resolutions.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage staffing, training, inventory, and cost controls. Optimize staffing, supplies, and processes to meet business goals while staying aligned with brand standards.
- Team Development: Train, coach, and empower teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences and implement innovative cleaning techniques and operational strategies.
