POSITION SUMMARY
The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the breakfast service, as well as ensuring the breakfast and dining areas remain clean, safe, and inviting. This role is guest-facing and requires a warm, service-oriented personality to make every guest feel welcomed and cared for.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Breakfast Attendant:

Obtains food and beverage safety certification and complies with Health Department standards.

Sets up and breaks down each morning’s breakfast service.

Ensures all breakfast items are stocked, fresh, and within expiration dates.

Maintains the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the dining area.

Cleans the dining area in preparation for the next day’s service.
-
Replenishes silverware, condiments, and beverage supplies.
-
Performs light to moderate food preparation.
-
Responds promptly to guest requests and needs.

Clears and cleans tables throughout breakfast hours.
-
Reports maintenance issues to the General Manager.

Performs deep cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Completes all brand-specific training within the required timeframe.

Works to achieve and exceed guest satisfaction scores.

Maintains confidentiality regarding company operations, guest information, and employee matters.

Performs other duties as assigned. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive; responsibilities may change as needed. Breakfast Attendants may also assist other departments including Laundry, Housekeeping, and Houseman roles.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role involves frequent interaction with guests and coworkers. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to cleaning chemicals, infectious waste, or other health-related conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Applicants must be able to:

Bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.

Stand and walk for up to 8 hours in a restricted space.

Safely use a ladder or step stool.

Use and lift arms for extended periods.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Customer service experience preferred

Qualifications:Required Education:
