What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Assistant position at Auburn Eye MDs?
We are currently looking to fill a full time position for an ophthalmology assistant in a busy private practice. As an assistant, you will be trained to work up patients for any ocular complaints or concerns the patient may have. Our ideal candidate must be motivated, responsible, show initiative, friendly, a team player, and most importantly willing to learn a new career through hands-on training along with a structured Ophthalmology Assistant Program that we will provide to the right candidate. No experience is required, but prior medical experience is helpful. Must be reliable and demonstrate great attendance. A desire to work with all ages, especially our older patients, is a must
