What are the responsibilities and job description for the Graphic Designer position at Aubergine Kitchen?
Full Time | Design | Orem, UT (in-office)
Who We Are
Aubergine Kitchen is a premium, health-forward fast-casual restaurant group in a high-growth phase. Founded in Orem, Utah in 2014, we now have locations across Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Idaho, and we are expanding. We're building a distinctive brand around real food, thoughtful ingredients and a more elevated dining experience. Our marketing team is small, collaborative and hands-on; if you want to do meaningful creative work and see it come to life across a growing brand, this is the one.
The Role
We're hiring a Designer to help shape and execute Aubergine Kitchen's visual identity across every customer touchpoint. You'll work across digital, print, social, email, in-store signage, menus, campaigns and more, translating marketing ideas into thoughtful, polished creative that feels consistent with where we're taking the brand.
We're looking for someone with a strong design eye who can move between creative concepting and hands-on execution. Some days you'll help develop a campaign or explore a new creative direction; others you'll be refining assets, making revisions, resizing designs or turning around requests from across the business. Both matter. There's room to shape the role around your strengths and take on greater creative ownership as the brand grows.
What You'll Do
- Brand & Creative — Design and evolve creative assets across digital, print, social, email, website, menus, packaging and in-store materials. Help maintain a cohesive, elevated visual identity across every touchpoint.
- Campaigns & Launches — Bring seasonal menus, new product launches, promotions, grand openings and brand initiatives to life through compelling visual storytelling.
- Day-to-Day Execution — Handle the ongoing design needs of a growing marketing team, from quick-turn requests and asset adaptations to revisions, resizing and production-ready files. Manage competing priorities without letting quality slip.
- Creative Development — Contribute ideas, explore visual directions and identify opportunities to make our creative stronger. Depending on your strengths, take the lead on projects and help guide creative decisions from concept through final delivery.
- Collaboration & Workflow — Work closely with marketing and cross-functional teams to understand briefs, manage timelines and deliver work efficiently. Help keep creative assets organized and improve the processes that support our growing volume of work.
What You'll Bring
A strong portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, visual judgment and versatility. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or comparable tools. Experience working across multiple formats and adapting creative to different channels. Strong attention to detail, organization and the ability to manage multiple projects at once. Comfort working from both detailed briefs and high-level direction. A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with the initiative to contribute ideas and the flexibility to execute on the needs of the business. Experience with brand development, food, hospitality, lifestyle or consumer brands is a plus, but not required. We're open to different levels of experience; quality of work, adaptability and attitude matter most.
