What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events and Partnerships Manager position at Aubergine Kitchen?
EVENTS AND BRAND PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER
Full Time | Marketing | Orem, UT (in-office, with regular travel to locations & event sites) | Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager
WHO WE ARE
Aubergine Kitchen is a premium, health-forward fast-casual restaurant group in a high-growth phase. Founded in Orem, Utah in 2014, we're now 14 locations across Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Idaho — and expanding. The marketing team is small enough that decisions happen around one table, not a committee; if you want a role where your work is visible and yours, this is the one.
THE ROLE
We're hiring an Events & Brand Partnerships Manager to own brand events and brand partnerships across every market we operate in. In year one, that means grand openings and building real brand partnerships in the neighborhoods we open in — showing up locally, working with groups such as gyms, athletic departments, fitness clubs and health and wellness brands, and giving people a reason to feel like Aubergine is theirs, not just another place to eat. You'll also support catering marketing and sales alongside our Catering Director as that channel grows. You'll help build the grand-opening playbook, the brand partnership strategy, and the measurement that proves it's all working. There's no fixed job description here — the role takes shape around what you're good at and where the business needs you most, and it grows as we do. It's a rare chance to build a function from its early stages rather than step into one that's fully mature and defined, with results you'll see land in real markets fast.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Grand Openings & Launches — Own events for every new store opening, in partnership with Operations and store leadership; build and continuously improve a repeatable playbook (timeline, budget, collaboration with operations, outreach); build local relationships ahead of launch.
- Community & Brand Partnerships — Secure local brand partnerships (gyms, athletic departments, fitness clubs and health and wellness brands); represent Aubergine at festivals and expos; build a repeatable community calendar per market; manage the vendors, venues and contracts that come with it.
- Guest & Loyalty Events — Run tastings, menu launches and brand experiences; partner on loyalty member events; turn events into content for social, email and blog.
- Own the Numbers — Manage the annual events budget; define success per event type and report on it honestly (attendance, cost per attendee, sales lift, earned media); kill what doesn't work, scale what does.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Experience planning and executing events end-to-end (brand, community, hospitality, retail or agency backgrounds all work). Comfort building without an existing playbook. Strong project management across multiple markets and stages at once. Budget ownership with the ability to justify spend through outcomes. Flexible with an occasional early morning or weekend event. Excellent relationship-building with local partners, vendors and store teams. Travel across our locations, valid driver's license required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality or related field preferred — relevant experience matters more.
WHAT WE OFFER
Competitive salary and bonus based on experience • paid time off • a small, fast-moving team where your work is visible • real room to grow as our footprint grows
