Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
- Understand and anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and at whatever time of day.
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
- Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
- Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
- Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
- Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
- Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to obtain a TB Clearance.
