Role Summary
Join our team as a Pastry Cook and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge du Soleil family, you will be responsible for, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring quality pastry production and working service. 

Pay Range
$20 - $23

Key Responsibilities
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done!  Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
  • Pastry production and working service. 
  • Working cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for quality ingredients.
  • Ensure that sanitation standards as set forth by local, state & federal Health Department regulations are in compliance as well as the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and its equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain the use of safe food handling procedures as well as a safe working environment by using correct food-handling skills and food safety guidelines.
  • Maintain and supervise neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Great attention to detail, demonstrated pastry experience, a refined palate, and high standards of excellence.
  • Ideal candidates will be motivated, hard-working, and dedicated.
  • Must be able to maneuver within a kitchen for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must have a flexible work schedule as well as work holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience and culinary education are preferred, but we are willing to train an individual with a great attitude.
