IT Support Specialist

The IT Support Specialist provides frontline technical assistance and support to employees across the organization. This role ensures that hardware, software, and network systems are functioning optimally and that users receive timely, effective solutions to technical issues. The ideal candidate is resourceful, patient, and able to communicate complex information in a clear and user-friendly manner.ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line support for all IT-related issues, including hardware, software, network connectivity, and user access requests.Install, configure, and maintain computers, mobile devices, printers, and other office technology.Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings across company systems (e.g., email, cloud platforms, internal tools).Troubleshoot issues in Windows/macOS environments and common business applications.Monitor and maintain network performance, including Wi-Fi, security, and backup systems.Document technical procedures, solutions, system configurations, and incident reports.Assist with onboarding new employees by setting up equipment, accounts, and access to necessary systems.Ensure all systems follow cybersecurity best practices and company policies.Collaborate with vendors and external IT partners when needed to resolve escalated issues.Support IT projects such as system upgrades, hardware deployments, or software rollouts.Qualifications1–2 years of IT support or help desk experience preferred.Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS systems, Microsoft 365/Google Workspace, and networking fundamentals.Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.Excellent communication skills and a customer service–oriented mindset.Ability to troubleshoot technical issues methodically and efficiently.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and data privacy standards.

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000
