Au Courant Salon Expectations for Excellence:
- Provide exceptional hair services for both women and men, including cutting, styling, blowouts, color, highlights, balayage, lowlights, toning, treatments, and specialty services.
- Create customized looks that reflect each client’s individual style and personality.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with your clients through exceptional service, communication, consistency, and attention to detail.
- Conduct thoughtful consultations and make professional recommendations based on each client’s needs and goals.
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance that reflects the Au Courant brand.
- Arrive prepared and on time and manage your schedule effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Participate in ongoing education and continually develop your technical skills.
- Collaborate with your fellow stylists and contribute to the overall success and positive energy of the salon.
- Take ownership of your professional growth, client retention, productivity, and career goals.
We’re looking for:
- 3–5 years of experience with men’s and women’s haircuts and color applications/techniques.
- A strong sense of team and client loyalty.
- A genuine desire to build and grow a loyal clientele.
- Strong technical skills and a commitment to continued education.
- Excellent consultation and communication skills.
- A passion for making clients look and feel their best.
- A professional, polished, and well-groomed presentation.
- Dependability, punctuality, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and support your fellow team members.
- Creativity and a desire to stay current with trends, techniques, and the evolving beauty industry.
- A positive attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to a healthy, supportive salon culture.
