Social Media Coordinator (Part‑Time)

ATX Float is a wholesaler of tubes and outdoor gear serving waterparks, river outfitters, and retailers nationwide. We’re growing, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to float with us.
We are expanding our outdoor recreation brand across waterparks, river outfitters, and the broader outdoor gear community. As we grow, our social media should grow right alongside us - and we’re building our team with someone who can help elevate our digital presence with creativity, consistency, and brand alignment.
We’re looking for a part‑time Social Media Coordinator who can help build and maintain consistent, on‑brand content across our platforms. The ideal candidate enjoys outdoor lifestyle branding, can capture real‑life photos in Central Texas, and collaborates well with our designer and videographer to create polished content.
Responsibilities
- Develop weekly content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn aligned with brand initiatives and new product launches
- Capture lifestyle photos and videos at parks, rivers, outfitters, and outdoor recreation spaces in Central Texas
- Collaborate with our graphic designer and videographer to produce cohesive, brand‑aligned visuals
- Increase reach and engagement across outdoor recreation audiences
- Tag parks, outfitters, waterparks, and outdoor gear accounts to broaden reach and build community
- Source, coordinate, and collaborate with influencers who align with ATX Float’s brand and culture
- Track follower growth, engagement metrics, and content performance
- Works with internal teams to streamline content creation and strengthen overall output
Skills & Tools
- Canva (graphics creation)
- CapCut (Reels/TikTok editing)
- Instagram Reels & TikTok (short‑form content creation)
- Meta Business Suite (scheduling analytics)
- Microsoft Outlook & Word (professional communication structured briefs)
- AI tools, including Photoroom (used as supportive resources - not primary methods while creating original, brand‑aligned graphics)
- Strong mobile photography skills
- Hashtag research for outdoor recreation audiences
- Basic analytics understanding for tracking growth and engagement
- Experience creating content for B2B or industry‑focused audiences is a plus
Location Requirement
- Must be based in Central Texas
- Must be able to capture real‑life photos at parks, rivers, outfitters, and outdoor recreation spaces
