The Manufacturing Production Supervisor leads a production team overseeing custom manufacturing with a focus on plastic injection molding. This role ensures production efficiency, quality standards, and safety compliance while managing process improvements and machine setups to meet production goals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee production operations and quality control on the shift
- Supervise and lead a large team of 16 members to maintain productivity
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and promote a safe work environment
- Manage process improvements to optimize manufacturing efficiency
- Conduct job changeovers and machine setups, pulling and setting molds
- Utilize quality management software for reporting and analysis
- Operate overhead crane equipment as required
- Prepare and submit production and quality reports
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing production supervision
- Experience in Plastic Injection Molding
- Experience pulling and setting molds in machinery
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and Quality Assurance principles
- Strong team leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and production planning
- Effective problem solving and time management abilities
