Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Vascular Technologist, at an outpatient clinic located in Beckley, WV. The Registered Vascular Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic vascular ultrasound examinations, working closely with physicians to analyze and assess diagnostics, and ensuring the proper use and maintenance of ultrasound equipment. Additional responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, maintaining accurate records, and assisting in promoting a safe and efficient working environment.
Qualifications
- Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in vascular technology or from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in vascular sonography
- Strong knowledge of vascular and cardiology examinations and techniques
- Proficiency in medical procedures and terminology related to vascular diagnostics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining patient safety
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site clinical setting
- Current licensure or certification in accordance with state and federal regulations is required
- Prior experience in vascular diagnostic medical sonography or a related field is preferred but not required
