**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Third Key Holder to support our retail team at Atwoods Ranch & Home Goods. The Third Key Holder will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store, assisting customers, and enhancing the overall shopping experience. This position involves opening and closing the store, managing cash registers, and working closely with the management team to maintain store standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Store Operations:** Assist in opening and closing the store as needed, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
- **Customer Service:** Provide exceptional service to all customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.
- **Team Support:** Collaborate with managers and team members to ensure the store operates efficiently, including training and mentoring new staff when required.
- **Sales Floor Management:** Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking merchandise and arranging displays.
- **Inventory Control:** Assist in monitoring inventory levels, conducting stock checks, and managing product replenishment.
- **Cash Handling:** Oversee cash register operations, process transactions accurately, and assist with cash reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- **Loss Prevention:** Help maintain security procedures to minimize theft and protect store assets.
- **Customer Engagement:** Build relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and encourage repeat business through your positive interactions and product knowledge.
- **Promotions and Events:** Support in-store promotions and events, ensuring staff is informed and prepared for special activities.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Previous retail experience preferred, with at least 1 year in a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50lbs.
