Description
An Atwoods retail store associate is responsible for providing outstanding customer service through a variety of functions including but not limited to: merchandising, promotional preparation, safety, assisting other departments, answering phone inquiries, general housekeeping, and assisting customers with purchases. In addition, they are integral in loss prevention and inventory integrity. This is a safety sensitive position.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to lift or move heavy merchandise-up to 50 lbs
- Math skills to count merchandise and for cash handling
- Develop product knowledge and selling skills.
- Ability to work outside in variable weather
- Extensive standing and walking
- Cooperative and willing to work as a team
- Be sure general layout of dept. is correct – fixtures, flow, merchandising
