Description
An Atwoods retail store cashier is responsible for providing outstanding customer service through a variety of functions including but not limited to: cash handling, merchandising, promotional preparation, safety, assisting other departments, answering phone inquiries, general housekeeping, and assisting customers with purchases. In addition, they are integral in loss prevention and inventory integrity. This is a safety sensitive position.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to lift or move heavy merchandise-up to 50 lbs
- Math skills to count merchandise and for cash handling
- Cash register skills
- Develop product knowledge and selling skills
- Extensive standing and walking
- Cooperative and willing to work as a team
